The Preston Nutter is located in Carbon, Duchesne, and Emery counties in Eastern Central Utah. Situated along the Green River, the Preston Nutter is one of the old historic ranches of Utah. It was a way station for the early transcontinental telegraph.
The Preston Nutter is also noted for its excellent hunting and early American Indian pictographs and petroglyphs along 9 Mile Canyon.
